About the website

The Website is operated by Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd RTO 45727 Please read these terms and conditions (the 'Terms') carefully. By using, browsing and/or reading the Website, this signifies that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms. If you do not agree with the Terms, you must cease usage of the Website, or any of Services, immediately.

Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd reserves the right to review and change any of the Terms by updating this page at its sole discretion. Any changes to the Terms take immediate effect from the date of their publication.

Registration to use the services.

To access the Services, you must first register for an account through our website.

As part of the registration process, or as part of your continued use of the Services, you may be required to provide personal information about yourself (such as identification or contact details), including:

  1. First and last name
  2. Telephone number
  3. Email address/Address of residence in Australia
  4. USI/not required if in Australia within six weeks.
  5. Verify Passport or drivers’ license.

You warrant that any information you give to Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd while completing the registration process will always be accurate, correct and up to date.

Once you have completed the registration process, you will be a registered Learner of the RTO ('Learner') and agree to be bound by the Terms.

You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if:

  1. You are under the age of the course requirment to form a binding contract with Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd; or
  2. you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of Australia or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.

Your obligations as a learner

As a Learner, you agree to comply with the following:

  1. You will use the Services only for purposes that are permitted by:
  2. The Terms; and any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions.
  3. You have the sole responsibility for protecting the confidentiality of your password and/or email address. Use of your password by any other person may result in the immediate cancellation of the Services.
  4. Any use of your registration information by any other person, or third parties, is strictly prohibited.
  5. Access and use of the Website is limited, non-transferable and allows for the sole use of the Website by you for the purposes of Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd providing the Services.

Payment

Where the option is given to you, you may make payment for the Services (the 'Services Fee ') by way of:

  1. Credit Card via Stripe or Bank Deposit through the Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd

Payments made during your use of the Services are made using Stripe or Bank Deposit.

In using the Website, the Services or when making any payment in relation to your use of the Services, you warrant that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Stripe terms and conditions which are available on their website.

You acknowledge and agree that where a request for the payment of the Services Fee is returned or denied, for whatever reason, by your financial institution or is unpaid by you for any other reason, then you are liable for any costs, including banking fees and charges, associated with the Services Fee.

You agree and acknowledge that Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd can vary the Services Fee at any time.

Refund Policy

Students, who give notice to cancel their enrolment 14 business days or more prior to the commencement of a program, will be entitled to a full refund of fees paid. Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd Student Handbook Version 2. December 2023.

Students who give notice to cancel their enrolment less than

7 business days to 14 business days prior to the commencement of a program will be entitled to a 75% refund of fees paid. The amount retained (25%) by Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd is required to cover the costs of staff and resources which will have already been committed based on the student’s initial intention to undertake the training.

For students who cancel 7 business days or less prior to the commencement of the course payment is not refundable.

Students who cancel their enrolment after a training program has commenced will not be entitled to a refund of fees. Where a student has purchased a text or training workbooks and subsequently cancels, Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd will not refund monies for the text. Payment method Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd accepts payment for fees using: - Electronic Funds Transfer (account details available on request) - Payment in cash is not accepted all bookings online via electronic transfer.

On receipt of booking a conformation email with tax invoice will be sent, outlining your chosen course and inform of course requirements.

Statutory cooling-off period

The Standards for Registered Training Organisations require Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd Student Handbook Version 2. December 2023 Training to inform persons considering enrolment of their right to a statutory cooling off period. A statutory cooling off period (which is 10 days) is a period provided to a consumer to allow them to withdraw from a consumer agreement, where that agreement was established through unsolicited marketing or sales tactics. These include tactic such as door-to-door sales and telemarketing. A statutory cooling off period allows a consumer to withdraw from a sales agreement within 10 days of having received a sale contract without penalty.  It must be noted that Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd does not engage in unsolicited marketing or sales tactics and therefore a statutory cooling off period in not applicable to our students who have enrolled into a program. For refund option in other circumstances, students must refer to the above refund policy. Our Guarantee to Clients If Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd cancels or ceases to provide training, Infrastructure Training must issue a full refund for any services not yet provided.

Changes to terms and conditions

Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend the conditions of the student’s enrolment at any time.  If amendments are made that effect the student’s enrolment the student will be informed 7 business days prior to changes taking effect. Students then have 28 business days to submit an appeal from the date they were informed of the decision. Further information about Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd Student Handbook Version 2. Protection under Australian Consumer Law

As a student undertaking a vocational education and training course, you are protected under Australian Consumer Law and under State and Territory consumer protection laws. These protections include areas such as unfair contract terms, the consumer guarantees, to statutory a cooling-off period and unscrupulous sales practices. Acceptance of the Terms

You accept the Terms by remaining on the Website. You may also accept the Terms by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms where this option is made available to you by Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd in the user interface.

By completing an enrolment, you certify that the information provided is true and correct.

You further certify that you have:

  • I have reviewed the terms and conditions provided to me as part of my enrolment.
  • I have accessed and reviewed the Student Handbook published on the website and accept Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd rights and obligations.
  • I have reviewed and accept the Schedule of Fees and Payments and have been informed of the refund policy.
  • reviewed the Course Brochure and have been informed of and accept the training and assessment services to be provided and the units of competency to be completed.
  • I accept during training, photos or video footage may be taken of me. I give permission for Infrastructure Training Pty Ltd to use these for improving training resources, advertising, and reports.
  • I have reviewed the National VET Data Privacy Policy Notice provided in the Student Handbook and acknowledge that Commonwealth and State or Territory government departments and authorised agencies will use my personal information in accordance with this notice.

All requests for a refund or cancellation must be emailed to info@infrastructure-training.com.

No refund is applicable for the course fees due to the failure of the course to be completed once the course has begun.
